So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 10:31
Bible nutrition is easy. Eat whole organic foods, just like people ate thousands of years ago. This includes vegetables, fruits, grains, legumes, nuts, seeds, herbs and animal foods. The key is to find these foods unprocessed, without chemicals, pesticides, drugs, or genetic modification.
Our bodies are literally made from the dust of the earth. A chemical analysis of the human body reveals the same minerals found in the soil. We are earthen vessels made alive by the breath of God. He is the Potter, we are the clay. The body was intricately designed by God with an innate healing wisdom. The body needs nourishment from the essential elements found in healthy soil and plants. God placed countless known and unknown healing compounds in plants. The complexity of the body can only be optimally nourished by the intricate wisdom found in whole foods.
Although food is important, it does not bring us nearer to God. Thankfully, our salvation is not tied to our dietary choices. The most important food we need is spiritual food. Jesus Christ is the spiritual bread of life. Receiving Him by faith alone is the only way to satisfy our spiritual hunger and find peace with God. When we are first born again we need the milk of the Word to grow. As we mature in Christ, we need solid food. Feed on the deeper doctrines of the faith so you can teach others and proclaim the Good News to everyone
Jesus replied, “It is composed: `Man does not live on bread alone, but rather on each word that originates from the mouth of God.’ ” Mt 4:4
However, nourishment does not convey us close to God; we are no more regrettable on the off chance that we don’t eat, and no better on the off chance that we do. 1Co 8:8
At that point, Jesus announced, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who has faith in me will never be parched.” Jn 6:35
